I’ve been meaning to migrate my blog from Blogger to WordPress for a few years now, actually, but I’ve just never gotten around it. One of the big reasons I put it off for so long is because I wanted to host it myself rather than within someone else’s webspace. Well, I’ve had my own domains and hosting set up since last August. Then I sort of forgot about it.

But I wanted to get it set up before I leave on my big trip to Europe to better organize things for when I’m travelling and make posting and keeping track of my adventure that much easier. So I’m testing it out right now, and so far I’m pretty impressed. I’m kind of sore with myself for not doing this sooner.

I’ll be publishing all of my Project365 photos here, as well as my SoulPancake and other YouTube videos. I’m also working on some Tumblr integration and Twitter as well, so we’ll see how it goes.

For the time being I’ve managed to find the same theme I’m using for my Tumblr page, but in the future I hope to sit down and completely design my own theme, with help from Nick if he’s got some time.

That’s about all for now. I’m still keeping this as a ‘beta’ test for now, but with the way things are going I think I’ll be able to call it blog 2.0 by the end of the week.
